Over the past several months, I have knocked on hundreds of doors and met thousands of residents of District 39.
I have consulted with local experts in the fields of education, public planning, traffic management, and civil rights.
I have studied what is happening in our District and in Annapolis.
I have thought carefully about everything I have learned and am now ready to go to work as your representative in the Maryland House of Delegates.
If you are like me, you believe that your vote is precious.
You do not award it lightly.
You expect a candidate to earn your support with his ideas and his commitment.
You want to know the person you are voting for.
These pages lay out my views on the issues District 39 faces.
I encourage you to read them, to think about them, to contact me with your comments and questions.
I do not expect anyone to agree with me on everything.
Yet I am confident that, considered together, my ideas will prove a refreshing, hopeful, forward-looking step away from politics-as-usual and toward the kind of future we all want for our District and our State.
Please keep in mind that when presented with new information or new arguments, I'm not averse to reconsidering my positions when neccessary (after careful study).
I believe that is an important part of my job as your representative.
There is always the possibility that I may have
